Stress and Ovulation Tests

Results of a recent study conducted by Clearblue showed that using a test such as the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test does not add to the stress levels of women trying to conceive. In fact, it can bring benefits to the process. In the study, published in the prestigious journal, Human Reproduction, women using digital ovulation tests to time intercourse were found to be no different in terms of stress levels than women who were trying to conceive using the NICE clinical guidelines that recommend intercourse every 2 days. Moreover, use of digital ovulation tests was seen as offering additional benefits, including an increased understanding of the individual’s menstrual cycle. This was shown to give these women reassurance and confidence in focusing conception attempts at the most optimum time in their cycle. Click here to read the full study.
